Cuando hiciste tu primer tatuaje? y por qué?
Luis: Mi primer tatuaje fue a los 16 años, lo hice por la curiosidad al dolor (risas).

Como averiguaste sobre Tatau Tattoo Studio? Por qué decidiste pasar por el estudio?
L: Averigüe  acerca de Tatau Tattoo Peru por medio de una amiga, vi los trabajos que hacen y me   gustaron.

            Tu idea original era hacer una manga entera con pecho cuando hablaste con Aaron la primera vez? Qué tipo de opciones para un tatuaje te ofreció inicialmente?

L: Desde el inicio quería una manga oriental, tenía claro lo que quería que haya en ella , además debía cubrir el tatuaje que ya existía que era un dragón tribal.

            Cómo decidiste al fin el tema para tu manga entera y pecho? Fue algo que desarollaste con Aaron desde el inicio o fue cambiando? Supiste que había la posibilidad que un tatuaje asi tomaría varias sesiones?

L: Decidí hacerme el dragón porque lo veo como un ser que da protección pero también puede tener maldad. La geisha  representa una mujer culta, que sirve de compañía para el hombre, además tiene un hombro descubierto pues eso es símbolo de una geisha que es además servidora sexual. Sabía de antemano que tomaría varias sesiones, además es una cubertura, eso lo hace más difícil.

            Me puedes contar tu experiencia del proceso de estar tatuado por varias sesiones.

L: El proceso es largo, a veces demora o por tiempo te cansa tener que ir a las citas constantemente, además uno debe de cuidar detalles del tatuaje y cuidar como este cura.

            Ahora que tienes una manga entera, ha hecho cambiados en tu vida tener una manga?

L: Al tener un tatuaje tan grande notas que la gente te observa, algunos se acercan a preguntar otros incluso quieren tocar el tatuaje para ver si es real. En mi trabajo los proveedores  muchas veces miran el brazo mientras mi están hablando porque es un hecho que llama la atención y las chicas te ven un poco como chico malo.

            Tienes algún consejo para alguien que está considerando tatuarse una manga entera o un tatuaje grande?

L: Si desean hacerse tatuajes, escojan un diseño que les guste, recuerden que un tatuaje tan grande ya no se puede cubrir , además deben tener mucha paciencia y tolerancia al dolor(risas).

And it is how all started...

The idea to start a tattoo studio came to me November 2009 after receiving my third tattoo, done by Adolfo Gutiérrez( aka Free-Hand) and located on my right inner forearm. During the tattoo session Adolfo mentioned that he had recently arrived from Brazil and was anxious to start tattooing in a new studio. The conversation made me think of the possibility of opening my own studio and I proposed to Adolfo that he become a part of it.

Since the beginning the art of tattooing has fascinated me but for a thousand different reasons I never had the chance to enter this artistic medium and I still haven't been able to learn how to tattoo, however this idea to start a tattoo studio gives me a huge opportunity to do what I've been waiting for, learn to tattoo.

This is how this adventure started, although it has no name for now, slowly it has been forming and becoming a reality.

Adolfo Free-Hand , our star tattoo artist, he will put art on your skin, according to him you have to clean your butt with bleach.

Yofree, my brother, I call him Baldy, is opening his own clothing line called Badspike, and manager of the future studio location.

Myself, Aaron, the co-founder, videogame artist, part of the studio's management and future tattoo apprentince of the studio.
